the bacteria and I are having a war tonight before my test on thursday.
hmm, I think I must have some lysozymes around here somewhere....

lysozymes: a substrate that breaks the peptidoglycan beta 1,4 bonds and ceases the synthesis of a bacteria's cell wall- it's the most important component in antibiotics such as penicillin
