So- since my last post summer has ended and I've been now married 3 months!

The summer- exciting, tension building up towards the wedding, out of the normal, unpredictable, fun, growing, challenging, adventuring, settling, and love. lots of love.

The wedding- Perfect (even including the incident where my vows were lost and I had to rewrite them five minutes before the ceremony began). Only thing I would have changed- the photographer. But the actual day -perfect. blissful. full of smiles. sincere words. my own little special designs. wonderful bright flowers. dancing with my husband ( who would have thought! ) I couldn't have created a better day. We had the most fantastitic wedding, it was so "us"

The honeymoon- adventuring. Ireland. hiking. Austria. delicious and decidant german food. laughing. buying me flowers off the street markets. learning. adapting to sleeping in the same bed. full of surprises. exhausting. but still fun. a completely new experience to start our completely new life. and again, I wouldn't change or give up those memories for anything.

Settling into Mike's "old" and now "our" new apartment- haha, I think we're still doing that. Buying my favorite ever kitchen table for 150 off of craigslist- so fun (plus it came with a small buffet desk matching table). Comfy sofas. Buying, trying, returning countless rugs. painting our bedroom. endlessly still trying to decide what to paint our bathroom. the great coffee table hunt. And even though some days I still wonder what we are doing in Miami- it will always be our first home. Ours. love it.

Senior Year of Nursing school- it's school. ready to graduate. oncology floor for medsurg- really have enjoyed experience, the first time I actually look at myself during the day and say I could do this for a profession, thats surely a step in the right direction. PSY clinical rotation- started off scared and now it has grown on me so much that I don't mind my Friday's at all. The patients are so great, and hit a special compassion part in my heart. They always make me smile. But as always a busy semester with lots of learning and remembering of all the facts from the two semesters past. Let's just wait and see how that cumulative from the entire 1 year HESI for medi surg goes :)

Working on creating a name for M & H's new "family" blog- our little piece of pie, within our front door.

Hopefully I'll be able to put up pictures soon from the entire wedding process. But until then- create a great day.
